Service Ministries
Finance Council
The Finance Council reviews the financial transactions of the parish and provides the pastor with a “second opinion” on financial issues. This body also produces and publishes the annual report that is filed with the Archdiocese and is presented annually to the parish community.
Senior Leadership Team
The Senior Leadership Team is a group of parish leaders who are appointed by the Pastor to advise and assist him with the management and operation of the parish. The group is responsible for forming the vision of the parish and carrying out the mission. The group meets weekly, and as needed, to ensure excellence and alignment in all aspects of the parish, including formation programs, events, St. Anthony of Padua Elementary School and the day-to-day business of the parish.
Hospitality
As the face of Jesus Christ, the Hospitality Ministry strives to ensure that everyone who walks through our parish doors feels welcomed and loved! The Hospitality Ministry lives out its mission and is most visible every week at our Sunday Masses.
The greeters, ushers and welcome booth ministers at each Mass are all under the umbrella of this ministry. The Name Tag Committee, also supports the Hospitality Ministry by coordinating monthly and seasonally themed events, such as Halo Halo Weekend. This offers parishioners and visitors with regular opportunities to get to know each other.
Offertory Gift Presenters
This Ministry serves Jesus and the parishioners who attend Sunday Mass. It provides an opportunity for parishioners to serve in the celebration of Christ’s sacred gift to us. The Ministry contributes to making Mass a great experience for all who attend.
Lectors
The Lector Ministry calls for volunteers to grow in a warm and loving knowledge of Scripture, which is the living Word of God. Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Mass and other liturgical services. They are encouraged to read scripture in a clear and meaningful way so that everyone can hear and understand what is being said.
Altar Servers
Altar Servers have the honour of assisting the priest during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with the greatest reverence and respect.
Music Ministry
Our choir leads the online congregation in song to worship and praise God at 5:00 pm* Saturdays and at 8:00 am, 10:00 am* and at 12:00 pm on Sundays.
