Marian Consecration

Since 2017, St. Anthony of Padua has invited parishioners to grow in holiness through devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, following the path of St. Louis de Montfort, who described Marian consecration as “the safest, easiest, shortest and most perfect way” to Jesus. St. John Paul II, whose motto was Totus Tuus (“Totally Yours”), credited this devotion as the decisive turning point of his life, renewing his consecration annually from age 18 until his death.

This year, our parish is offering a new program:

Behold the Handmaid of the Lord: A 10-Day Personal Retreat with St. Louis de Montfort’s True Devotion to Mary by Fr. Edward Looney.

Annual renewal of consecration is encouraged, and this 10-day format provides a practical way to continue deepening your devotion year after year. Parishioners are also invited to integrate this retreat with other parish offerings, such as Faith Studies and Faith Formation programs, to strengthen their path of discipleship.
